THE PROGRAM EMPHASIZED THE DEVELOPMENT OF EDUCATIONAL FACILITIES WHICH WOULD--(1) MAINTAIN CULTURAL CONTINUITY, (2) COPE WITH THE PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT, AND (3) PROVIDE FOR AN EDUCATIONAL TELEVISION ORIENTED CURRICULUM. THE DESIGN OF CLASSROOMS WAS DEVELOPED TO BE CONSISTENT WITH--(1) NATIVE CONSTRUCTION SKILLS, (2) INDIGENOUS BUILDING MATERIALS, AND (3) EFFECTIVE SOLUTION OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROBLEMS. FACILITIES UTILIZED TRADITIONAL FURNITURE DESIGN IN CLASSROOMS PROVIDED WITH FLEXIBLE TELEVISION RESOURCE CENTERS. SKETCHES AND PHOTOGRAPHS ARE INCLUDED.
