IT IS INTENDED TO HELP DISADVANTAGED STUDENTS LEARN BASIC PRINCIPLES AND CONCEPTS OF MECHANICS AND TO STIMULATE INTEREST IN READING. ILLUSTRATIONS AND TEXT EXPLAIN HOW THE MODEL T AND MODEL A FORD OPERATED. TOPICS INCLUDE THE CARBURETOR, AXLES, DRIVESHAFT, UNIVERSAL JOINTS, BRAKES, INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINES, LUBRICATION SYSTEMS, AND COOLING SYSTEMS. THE PROCESSES AND PARTS ARE ILLUSTRATED BY DRAWINGS.
