A REVISED PROPOSAL FOR THE MAT WITH A MAJOR IN ENGLISH AT THE UNIVERSITY OF IDAHO OUTLINES THE OBJECTIVES AND COURSES FOR THIS DEGREE. THE MAJOR PORTION OF THE DOCUMENT CONSISTS OF "COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATIONS FOR DEGREE PROGRAM LEADING TO THE MASTER OF ARTS IN THE TEACHING OF ENGLISH" AT THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO.
