THE UNITS ARE (1) ANIMALS, (2) SPACE AND EARTH SCIENCE, (3) PLANTS, AND (4) MATTER, ENERGY, AND MACHINES. INTERSPERSED IN THE UNITS ARE SEVEN LESSONS ON THE INTERRELATIONSHIP OF PLANTS AND ANIMALS WITH THEIR ENVIRONMENT. SPECIFIC CONCEPTS, OBJECTIVES, STUDENT EXPERIENCES, INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS, AND AUDIOVISUAL AIDS ARE LISTED FOR EACH LESSON. SOURCES OF INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS AND AUDIOVISUAL AIDS ARE PROVIDED.
