THIS PROPOSAL DESCRIBES THE ANTICIPATED OPERATION OF A PROJECT WHICH WILL OFFER COLLEGE COUNSELING AND ACADEMIC ENRICHMENT TO DISADVANTAGED SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS WITH COLLEGE POTENTIAL. THE STUDENTS WILL BE SELECTED IN THE SEVENTH GRADE AND CONTINUE IN THE PROGRAM THROUGHOUT HIGH SCHOOL. THEY WILL PARTICIPATE EACH SUMMER IN A 5-WEEK RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM AT ONE OF THE SPONSORING INDEPENDENT SCHOOLS OR COLLEGES, AND REGULARLY ATTEND SATURDAY CLASSES DURING EACH SCHOOL YEAR.
