THE MAJOR PROBLEM OF THIS STUDY WAS TO ANALYZE THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THE CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE EDUCATIONAL TELEVISION MOVEMENT IN THE UNITED STATES MADE BY THE UNITED STATES OFFICE OF EDUCATION, THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF EDUCATIONAL BROADCASTERS, THE NATIONAL EDUCATION ASSOCIATION, AND THE FORD FOUNDATION, ORGANIZATIONS ACTIVE IN THE INITIATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE EDUCATIONAL TELEVISION MOVEMENT FROM 1950 TO 1962.
