THE DEVELOPMENT SINCE 1959-60 OF THE SPECIAL EDUCATION DISTRICT WHICH NOW SERVES 46 SCHOOL DISTRICTS IN LAKE COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AND INCLUDES 123 PERSONNEL IS DESCRIBED WITH AN ACCOMPANYING TABLE PERSCRIBING THE NUMBER OF PROFESSIONAL WORKERS NEEDED IN EACH AREA OF HANDICAP FOR A BASE POPULATION OF 15,000.
