OBJECTIVES, TEACHING TECHNIQUES, AND COURSE CONTENT FOR EACH YEAR OF A 4-YEAR PROGRAM OF LATIN INSTRUCTION ARE DISCUSSED IN THIS GUIDE FOR TEACHERS. EMPHASIS IS GIVEN TO THOSE ASPECTS OF THE TRADITIONAL PROGRAM WHICH MAY REQUIRE MODIFICATION IF THE NEWER GOALS IN LATIN INSTRUCTION ARE TO BE ACHIEVED.
