THE EMPHASIS IS ON THE SPEECH OF SPEAKERS OF NONSTANDARD VARIETIES OF ENGLISH AND ASSOCIATED SCHOOL PROBLEMS. THE OBJECTIVES AND PROCEDURES OF EACH PROJECT ARE DESCRIBED IN THE REPORT.
