VOCABULARIES SHOULD BE BUILT AROUND ACTIVITIES ENJOYED BY FIFTH GRADERS. MATERIAL PRESENTED IN THE MANUAL IS DESIGNED TO BE STENCILLED OR DITTOED AND SHOULD BE READ BY THE STUDENTS, BUT DISCUSSIONS SHOULD BE ORAL. NOTEBOOKS SHOULD BE USED FOR WRITING ORIGINAL SENTENCES BASED ON VOCABULARY PRESENTED. VOCABULARIES ARE INTRODUCED VISUALLY ON THE BOARD AND THEN BY VISUAL AIDS.
