Advanced Search

Use the Advanced Search function to build more targeted searches:

The function combines rows of search criteria using the Boolean operators AND, OR, or NOT as a single string. Preference is given to ANDed terms, regardless of location in the string. For example:

actually searches (algebra AND geometry) OR math OR fractals.

You can also use Boolean operators and parentheses within a text box to build more precise searches. For example:

directs the search to combine the terms differently, i.e., (math OR algebra) AND (geometry OR fractals).
