Using My ERIC

 

My ERIC Overview

About My ERIC
My ERIC was created to enhance your research goals by providing additional features that will allow you to create a personalized Web resource specific to your needs. It is NOT necessary to register for My ERIC to use the ERIC search capability. Registering for My ERIC allows you to create a personalized Web resource specific to your needs.

Registration
Registration requires you to create a username and password, and to provide a valid email address. Your email address must be in good working order because if you forget your password, ERIC will use your email address to send you the forgotten information. In accordance with ERIC's privacy policy, ERIC will not share your email address or make it available to any third party. Registration is free.

Username and Password
The username you create must have at least 5 characters, and the password must have at least 8 characters. My ERIC is case sensitive. You may use upper or lower case, as well as numbers or other special characters, in creating your password. You should create a username and password that are easy for you to remember.

My ERIC Login
Login requires you to enter the username and password you established when you registered.

Lost Username
If you cannot remember your username you may register again, or contact the ERIC Customer Support Center via email at ericsupport@csc.com or telephone (800) 538-3742. The ERIC Customer Support Center is available to assist you from Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time.

Lost Password
If you cannot remember your password, use the "Forgot your password?" link to submit a help request. You must submit the username and email address you provided when you registered with My ERIC.

Session Timeout
Your My ERIC session will timeout after twenty (20) minutes of inactivity. If you are timed-out, you must login again.
